Haedi (Hoedus I & Hoedus II)

۞ Hoedus I and Hoedus II comprise together the two Haedi, Kid Goats.

۞ Hoedus I is an orange coloured star on the left arm of the Charioteer.

۞ Hoedus II is a star on the left arm of the Charioteer.

۞ In classical times the Haedi had a bad reputation, especially among mariners who dreaded their presaging the storms on the Mediterranean.

۞ When rising, the Haedi give self-confidence, honours, happiness, and an adroit mind, as well as a career in public service, or in education, but also warn of fickle love affairs, great vicissitudes, and storms at sea.

۞ When setting the Haedi warn of petulance, lasciviousness, depraved and vicious desires, cowardice, an early death, possibly suicide, a deceptive exterior, and violent storms, especially at sea.

۞ According to Ptolemy the constellation of Auriga is of the nature of Mars and Mercury.
