۞ Plume Agate is the Birthstone of 26°-27° Aquarius and the 26th of Shevat.

۞ On the 26th of Shevat, 5427 (1667 C.E.) Rabbi David ben Shmuel Halevi (5346-5427) passed away. He was a primary Halachic authority, known as “Taz” after his work “Turei Zahav” (‘Rows of Gold’), which is a commentary on Rabbi Yosef Caro’s “Shulchan Aruch” (Code of Jewish Law).

۞ Plume Agate displays a three-dimensional feather or plume-like inclusions on a clear Chalcedony background. The plumes can occur in a variety of colors and may have a submetallic luster due to minerals like pyrolusite, goethite, or manganese.

۞ Plume Agate can facilitate the re-birthing process and can help one deal with boththe information and the events of the past which have instilled blockages within the meridians and energy centers of the body. It provides for a gentle release of those conditions which have been inhibiting ones growth. [Melody]

۞ Plume Agate has been used to provide for a deep state of meditation, allowing the mind to be entirely uninhibited and clear. [Melody]

۞ Plume Agate has been used in the treatment of flows: energy flows, blood flows, etc.; it can provide assistance in balancing the white blood cell count with the red blood cell count and can facilitate the normalization of that ratio. [Melody]

۞ Personally I’ve experienced amazing synchronicities with this special gemstone. I have recorded my personal experience with Plume Agate in my Crystal Diary and published my account in a blog post:
