۞ October 28, 1918, 12:01 p.m., Sarin conjunct retrograde North Node: The independence of Czechoslovakia was proclaimed by the Czechoslovak National Council in Prague. The first Czechoslovak Republic existed until its occupation by Nazi Germany in 1938.

۞ November 11, 1918, 5:12 a.m., Sarin conjunct North Node: The signing of the Armistice between the Allies and Germany. This agreement that ended the fighting on the Western Front, went into effect at 11 a.m. Paris time on 11 November 1918 (“the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month”), and marked a victory for the Allies and a complete defeat for Germany, although not formally a surrender.
